They collected and wrote the Quran on paper. Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said: "Seek a name for it," and some said: "The book," and some said: "The Mus’haf;" for the Abyssinians call it the Mus’haf. Thus, Abu Bakr was the first to compile the Book of Allah and name it the Mus’haf.
